kk
VP of Communications
kk brings over two decades of experience in communications and racial justice leadership, crafting inclusive strategy, storytelling, and global communications across both for-profit and non-profit sectors. Their multidisciplinary practice integrates brand identity, illustration, marketing design, and photography to build narratives that inspire connection and social change.
Rooted in a deep commitment to equity and transformation, kk designs and facilitates racial justice learning spaces that center intersectionality, healing, and liberation. Their original curricula have explored themes such as inclusive leadership, neurodiversity, mental health, and decolonizing philanthropy. Collaborating with changemakers such as Susan Burton, Jess Clark, Pallavi Verma and Ameya Nagarajan, Emma Robbins, and Sean Saifa Wall, kk has catalyzed dialogues on anti-Blackness, caste, disability justice, and structural inequality, always inviting communities to reimagine how we unlearn, heal, and build more inclusive futures together.
Beyond communications, kk teaches martial arts and yoga grounded in community care, accessibility, and cultural awareness. Their pranayama (breathwork) workshops center decolonizing yoga, honoring Indigenous wisdom and the sacred South Asian roots of yoga. Through reflection and guided practice, they explore breath as a source of liberation and collective resistance to oppression.
Guided by curiosity and creativity, kk finds joy in music, travel, and language learning, most recently deepening studies in Croatian and American Sign Language, as lifelong pathways of connection and cultural appreciation.
